Terms of service

These terms cover your use of DesignMyRegistry (“we”, “us”). By making a registry or using a registry page, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

Hosts make registry pages, design them with our AI designer, and list gifts from any store. Guests reserve gifts so nothing is bought twice, then buy them on the store's own website. We aren't a store: we don't sell, ship or handle the gifts, and we don't handle gift money.

Your account

You need to be at least 18 to make a registry. Keep your sign in secure, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You're responsible for what happens on your registry.

Your content

You own the words and photos you add. You give us permission to store them, show them on your registry page and use them to make your designs. Only add photos and text you have the right to use. Don't ask the designer for copyrighted characters, brands or logos, and don't use DesignMyRegistry for anything illegal, hateful or misleading. We may remove content or close registries that break these terms.

AI designs

The designer and custom art are made by AI. Results vary, and you decide what to apply. You may use the designs made for your registry for your event.

Gifts, stores and money

• Stores set their own prices, stock, shipping and returns. Prices on a registry page may be out of date; the store's price is the real one.
• A reservation holds a gift for a few days so others don't buy it. It isn't a purchase.
• Cash funds and college funds link to the host's own accounts. Payments go directly between guest and host, and we aren't part of them.
• Some store links are affiliate links. See our affiliate disclosure.

Paid plans

Paid plans are a one time payment per event, made through Stripe. They aren't subscriptions. If something isn't right, email us and we'll work it out.

Availability

We work to keep DesignMyRegistry running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop features, and we'll give hosts notice before a change that takes away something they paid for.

Limits on our responsibility

DesignMyRegistry is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for stores, deliveries, payments between guests and hosts, or indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months.

Ending things

You can stop using DesignMyRegistry and ask us to delete your registry at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and email hosts about anything important.
